 Why plant based?

That sponge in your sink? Probably made of plastic. The scrubby bit, the soft bit, even the glue holding them together. Ours are different. The scrubbing side is natural loofah, a fast growing plant that's been doing the job long before synthetic sponges and plastic dish scrubbers existed. The sponge side is highly absorbent, responsibly sourced wood pulp cellulose, and the print is made from water based ink.

 How to care for your Scrub Sponges

For best results:


  • Wet before use
  • Rinse and wring well after use

  • Prop upright to air dry after use to keep smells and bacteria at bay

When they need a refresh:


  • Toss them in the dishwasher, microwave for a minute or give them a quick boil

  • Replace every 4 weeks or as necessary

Not suitable for:


  • Sponge baths

  • Sponge cakes

  • Exfoliating
